Ventura grew up in Sonoma County, and as of now, he is the youngest radio DJ in the wine country. At age 9, he was introduced to his first radio. His grandma introduced him to the radio and the wonderful music and jocks. Ventura’s family calls him an "old soul" because he loves listening to the great “old” country. At age 14, Ventura got his first volunteer radio job at a few community stations in Sonoma County. At 14, Ventura had big dreams of being in commercial radio. He called Amaturo Sonoma Media Group, asking them about job opportunities. They explained to him that he was too young and he needed a work permit. The day Ventura turned 15, he got his work permit and started working with the company. Ventura worked hard to fulfill his career aspirations to be on the radio. Ventura enjoys a good hike and fishing for some bass with his family. Some people say Ventura fishes way too much! But he disagrees.
